How to use Autel KM100 to program a 2020 Honda CR-V key

This post will show you how to program a key (all key lost) for a 2020 Honda CR-V using Autel KM100.


Here is the procedure:

Click "IMMO", choose "Honda">>"Manual selection">>"CR-V">>"Smart key">>"Push to start".


Then choose "Control unit">>"Keyless System(Honda)

It appears "Is the ignition turned on by pressing the Start button twice?"

Does not, we choose "No" to continue.

Press and hold the stop button.

The ignition is switched on, then release the engine start/stop switch.

Choose "All keys lost".

Turn the ignition switch off. (Don't press the foot brake and press the engine start/stop button.)

Place a key to be learned in the vehicle and take all other keys out of the vehicle to a place more than 5 m away.


"Is the ignition turned on by pressing the Start button twice?"

Does not, we choose "No" to continue.

Press and hold the stop button.

The ignition is switched on, then release the engine start/stop switch.

It appears "Is it a new model (Generally refers to the model after 2020)?"

Choose"NO" to continue.

Establishing vehicle communication...


"How many keyless access remotes do you want to keep?"

We just want to do one, enter "1" then click "OK" to continue.

Please turn the ignition switch off. (Don't press the foot brake and press the engine start/stop button.)

Please turn the ignition switch on. (Don't press the foot brake and press the engine start/stop button twice.)


Are both the keyless access and immobilizer indicator lights turned off?

Choose "Yes" to continue.


Then follow the instructions of the KM100 tool and repeat the above operations again.


Vehicle condition checking, Please wait.

The registration is completed.

Please turn the ignition switch off. (Don't press the foot brake and press the engine start/stop button.)


Check all keyless access remotes to ensure each will start the engine.

Check all keyless access remotes to ensure each will lock and unlock the doors.
