I’m going to show a short demonstration of how to use Autel MaxiCOM MK808 to perform SRS reset for an Audi. This tutorial is also applied to other VAG cars such as VW, Seat & Skoda. I am in an Audi now and there is an airbag warning light on the dashboard.  Plug the connector of Autel MK808 to OBD2 port, then go to the tablet: Diagnostics >> European >> Audi >> System selection Control unit >> 15-Airbag >> Trouble codes There is one trouble code here: B100B1B - passive/sporadic- driver thorax airbag igniter, resistance too high. I found a loose connection underneath the driver’s seat, and I had put that back together. But there was still an airbag light on the dashboard.  So I will reset it with the MK808 scanner. Press “Clear DTC”. Ignition on and engine off? Press “Yes”. DTCs and freeze data will be deleted. Press “Yes” to continue. No fault codes detected, press “OK”. The airbag warning light has gone! Once you got a new Autel device, how to create an Autel account and register it? Today we will take Autel MaxiSys MS908S Pro as an example to make a quick demonstration. Users that already have accounts and other Autel diagnostic tools can add a new tool to their pre-existing account. Be advised though some of the smaller DIY products do not require registration, they may be eligible for software updates. Create An Autel Account Visit pro.auteltech.com, select “Create an Autel ID”, the ID that you use to sign into your account with, it has to be a valid email. So after entering your email, click “Get verification code”.  The site will automatically send you a six digit code to your email. This is done to make sure you entered a valid email address.
