Autel KM100 Program 2022 Honda Accord Smart Key Success

Autel MaxiIM KM100 IMMO key tool is able to generate & add universal smart keys for the 2022 Honda Accord by OBD successfully. Following the post to learn how it works step by step.

Preparation

Wi-Fi Connection

Settings >> System settings >> WLAN

VCI Connection & Upgrade

Settings >> VCI manager >> Plug a USB charger to VCI to power it on, OK >> Select VCI once it was shown in the found signals >> Update VCI firmware if it’s available

Tools Required

An original key

A universal key

Autel KM100 & VCI

Procedure 

Generate Key

Plug VCI into OBD2 port, 

Universal key >> Enter license, VIN, make, model & year to continue

(Manual entry is easy. But VIN, plate, or system auto-scan will save lots of time)

Once completed, select 

Honda Accord 2018-2020 >> Generate universal key

Place the universal key into the Autel KM100 Key Programmer coil.

Wait until processing 100%...about 1 minute

Generate universal key success.

Add Key

Completed >> IMMO >> Push to start >> Confirm car info >> Hot function

Press START button twice to turn ignition on.

Add key(Guided) >> Start >> OK

Just follow the instruction to operate:

Turn the ignition off, and place the new key outside the vehicle.

Press the START/STOP button twice with the original key to enter accessory mode(no brake pressed).

Take the original key to the outside, and the new universal key inside the vehicle.

Key adding success.

Select “No” to complete.

Turn ignition on and off once.

Test both remote, all can work.

Remember to remove VCI from OBD when all were done.
