Nissan Qashqai+2ABS Traction ESP Light Reset via Autel MK808

There is an ABS traction ESP warning light on the Nissan Qashqai+2 J10(2008/8-) dashboard, so now I’m gonna use Autel MaxiCOM MK808 Scan Tool to reset it.

Plug Autel MK808 connector into OBD2 port, press

Diagnostics >> Nissan >> Manual selection >> Europe >> Great Britain >> Qashqai+2 >> J10 >> 2008/8- >> Yes 

Diagnosis >> Control unit >> ABS >> Read codes

There is a fault code C1102: RR LH Sensor-1.

It is the rear left-hand sensor, I’ve put a new ABS sensor in, but I’m still getting the warning light and the fault code.

So let’s go back to erase code.

The ignition on and the engine off? Yes.

DTC’s and freeze data will be deleted, press “Yes” to continue.

Codes have been successfully erased.

Return back to read codes to verify. Press “OK”.

It is telling “No fault codes detected.”

But the warning light is still on.

Let’s turn the engine off then back on, warning light has gone!
