VW Passat 2012 Adds a New Key via Autel IM608 + XP400

Autel MaxiIM IM608 + XP400 Programmer can program a new key for Volkswagen Passat 2012 successfully. It allows to do add key, all keys lost, read password, remote learning for Passat vehicles as below:

Steps

Connect Autel IM608 with OBD, turn ignition on, press

IMMO >> Accept >> Volkswagen >> Smart selection >> Yes >> OK >> It’s 2 keys on the vehicle, press “Esc”>> Key add >> Yes

Wait reading IMMO data processing until 100%...

Do you need to make a dealer key? Yes

Put a blank key in the XP400 programmer keyhole, press “OK”.

Key locked, attempt to unlock it? Yes

Make dealer key success! Press “OK”.

Continue to generate the next key? No

Place the dealer key in XP400 programmer, press “OK”. (It’s the new key we just made)

The following operation will modify the instrument data.

The ongoing process is non-interruptible, or it may cause damage to the instrument.

Press “OK”

Add key success! Press

OK >> OK

It shows 3 keys on the vehicle now.

Let’s test the new key, here we go, everything is perfect, it can start the engine.

Done!

That’s another key added. For remote function, you can go to “Remote control add” or “Remote control learning” to do it. I’ve already done.
